Ambient is my favorite word. Definition 1 reminds me of what I want Jesus to be in my life and definition 2 reminds me of what I don't want my relationship with Jesus to become.
“I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were either cold or hot! So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth."
(Revelation 3:15-16 ESV)
I don't want to be something that Jesus wants to spit out of his mouth. I keep this verse close to my heart to serve as a constant reminder that He wants more of me. My hope is that by starting this blog, I will find more ways to be on fire for Jesus and show others "The story of grace with every move that I make, and every little thing I do.”
